Project 1: Abstract / Presentation

I Imagine the threshold between sleep and wake to be a crossing of worlds. When we sleep, our mind is free to wander as far and wide as it can and the numerous dreams we experience each night, to me, are each worlds of their own.
In my A2 drawing I portrayed this using coloured prisms and images that aren’t shown in their entirety, leaving the viewer with spaces to fill with their own imagination as our minds do in sleep. With my model, I developed the aspect of colour and light further to make a physical representation of the movement between states in the way light moves through the gaps in the model and reacts with the colours inside.
