Taking inspiration from the site maps we created in class we were tasked with creating our own. I decided to focus mostly on the park itself, the natural elements and the changes over time. I split the page in three going from past, present, future with some parts blending as they survived throughout the years. I wanted to deconstruct several elements to show how they all mix and match in together to create the story of the space. This piece is interactive as each level has an image that can be moved along the rope allowing you to view the spaces in different situations. It’s layered over the land contours of Albert Park as I wanted to show whats the foundation of it all.
