Filter Systems and Pool Heating

The pools will be heated through a heat pump with each pool at a different temperature ranging between 30 – 40 degrees. Natural airflow will be used as ventilation.

I wanted to compare the different available filter systems to find which would be the most suitable for my bath house. I looked between three main types of filters – Sand, Cartridge and DE filters.

None of the above really seemed ideal for what I wanted so I looked further and came across Glass Filter Media. This seemed like a good choice for a few reasons.
– the product is environmentally friendly and lasts 3 times longer than traditional sand
– saves up to 25% of water through quicker backwashing
– filters down to 3 micron
– electrostatic mechanical filtering
– reduces bacteria growth, saves on chemical usage
– allows higher flow, improving filtration
