Week 12 – Plans, Sections, Construction Drawing and Perspectives

Once the design had been refined I began working on my presentation drawings. I chose to do an A1 print containing my 1:200 plan, 1:50 short section and 1:100 long section. I changed the sizing of my sections from the formative assessment to be able to show the design in more detail. This A1 sheet also has my positioning statement and project title.

I chose to print my construction drawing as an A2 sheet to fit nicely alongside the plans and sections. The larger scale allows the detail to be seen more clearly.

Using the digital model I had already created I was able to insert my design to get some perspective renders. The material of the textile was made in Blender along with the lighting. Several of these renders were later edited in Photoshop to add further atmospheric conditions.
