Flores and Prats are an architect team made up of Eva Prats (Born 1965, Barcelona) and Ricardo Flores (Born 1965, Buenos Aires). They established their studio in 1998 and are based out of Barcelona, Spain.
Their projects have spanned many fields such as rehabilitation, social housing and urban public spaces. They have also developed mobile and portable projects and experimented with film.
They have been on the receiving end of many awards. Most recently they were named Architects of the Year in the 2018 AD Awards.
The above piece caught my eye as the structure looks somehow peculiar in its surroundings. The colours create a muted pastel palette and the curved lines combine to make me think of the art deco era buildings.
