Not necessarily strangers but estranged, the people I invite into this space are two exes. They will enter the space separately but be aware that someone will be joining them. It is possible that they can mostly avoid each other in this space as the platforms are designed to be moved around in varying paths although the way they move will have to differ (bent over, crawl, climb). The surfaces of each platform are cold, hard and uninviting and the reflective surfaces play up the drama of a possible run in as the space gets distorted and disorientating. The only comfortable space is the bed itself. This single comfortable element of the design suddenly forces a confrontation. Will they say what was previously left unsaid?
